Meet Our Founder

Hi, I’m Sahara — it’s such a pleasure to meet you. I’m a Licensed Clinical Esthetician, Certified Aesthetic Injector, beauty entrepreneur, and the founder of PIELE Med Spa, "Steamboat's Concierge Med Spa" (pronounced P-L).

From the moment I can remember, I knew I wanted to join the beauty industry one day and create a space where people could feel beautiful, confident, and truly cared for.  As a little girl, I was fascinated by self-care and skincare products. I was always the friend doing facials and nails at sleepovers, I had a fascination with Bath & Body Works (and mixing my mom's cosmetics), and I often accompanied my aunts and cousins to spa appointments. By the time I was sixteen, I was making my own skincare products at home, practicing techniques on myself and my mom, and started to develop a sharp aesthetic eye.

Those early memories shaped me just as much as the years that followed. I graduated high school at 16, earned my bachelor’s degree by 20, and completed my Master’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin. I spent a decade practicing as a Certified Public Accountant specialized in International Tax & Transaction Advisory Services, advising on some of the largest transactions in the world. That chapter instilled discipline, precision, and integrity in me, and I am very grateful for the mentors and business acumen I gained along the way.

I built a successful career at Ernst & Young and later in industry, yet somewhere along the way, something shifted. I have always carried a creative, entrepreneurial spirit. That spark served me well in tax strategy and tax planning, however, over time I felt myself slipping away from who I truly was. And I knew something had to change. Life, meanwhile, was demanding more of me. In my early twenties, I helped care for my father. Soon after, I supported my mother through her health struggles. And by the time I turned 30, I was facing my own. Those years cracked me open. They reminded me of who I am and what brings me joy. They taught me tenderness, resilience, and the urgency of living with intention. Most of all, they showed me that life is short and dreams don’t wait — they call.

PIELE was born from that truth.

PIELE is the beginning of something incredibly special — a med spa built with purpose, intention, and deep love. Rooted in the belief that beauty is defined by what we hold within us, PIELE honors the presence, kindness, and energy we extend outward, enriching the world around us. PIELE is my way of honoring the dreams I once whispered to myself and finally choosing to live them out loud. It reflects my commitment to helping others feel radiant from the inside out. And now, I have the privilege of sharing it with the world.
